Bondex relies on market and economic intelligence from INDA to help inform our strategic decisions. We use the North American Supply Report annually as part of our market data and trend assessments which feed into our budget planning cycles. The market report is particularly helpful when mapping specific opportunities to nonwoven technologies and relative capacities in that space.
– Brian Little, President, Bondex Inc.
As many companies face the challenge of their lifetime during the COVID crisis, our industry has pivoted to become a key player in the virus’s control. INDA’s webinar on the topic led Bondex and others to embrace new opportunities to help.
Bondex has not historically sold products into the face mask applications. However, at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Bondex participated in the webinar “Increasing Nonwovens Materials to Respond to COVID-19 Crisis.” The South Carolina-based company was on a quest to identify market needs where Bondex could offer solutions with their nonwoven product range. Says President Brian Little, “Using the information discussed in that webinar, coupled with our market facing personnel, we were able to introduce products into the face mask value chain.” This is just one example of how Bondex has put INDA’s intelligence to work. “Our company size is relatively small, so we depend on INDA to supplement our market intelligence and other market data, which is harder for us to obtain on our own. For example – INDA’s North American Supply Report -- we use that supply report in our annual process, as well as throughout the year, to help us make judgments on individual opportunities.”
