The Unfixed Nature of Sustainability

Sustainability Panel - Jacquelyn Pohl

How do consumers define sustainability? Is it "all natural" or "organic" products? Maybe it is products with a low carbon footprint or made with recycled or recyclable ingredients? This panel will deliberate the differences between what we, the wipes industry, define as sustainable and how consumers interpret sustainability. Each member of the panel will share how their company satisfies the consumers' interpretation of sustainability when it can mean so many different things.

Sustainability... That's How We Roll

Driving sustainability is something that Burt's Bees does in all aspects of the business. Nonwovens have become one of the focuses in our sustainability wheelhouse with a concentration on not only processes but fibers as well. Burt's is taking a unique approach to nonwoven development including not just virgin fibers but waste streams as well to help minimize the environmental footprint of a typical single use product.
