Dr. Jim Loftus has over 26 years of materials experience, the last 22 of which have been in building materials with Owens Corning. He has an excellent knowledge of a wide variety of chemical and physical test methods. During his tenure at Owens Corning, Jim was closely involved with the product stewardship process brining his materials expertise to bear on product and process issues. He holds a BS, MS and Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from Penn State University. Jim currently holds 16 U.S. patents and has numerous patent applications.
