Bruce Harding is the Senior Director of Research and Development with Georgia Pacific Nonwovens, supporting Georgia Pacific’s advanced product development efforts to create high-value products that meet the needs of customers around the world. Bruce has thirty-four (34) years of experience in R&D across a variety of assignments for Procter and Gamble, Buckeye Technologies and Georgia Pacific.
Bruce began his career in nonwovens in 2008 while working for Buckeye Technologies where he was R&D Manager for their airlaid operations in NA and Europe. With the Georgia-Pacific acquisition of Buckeye Technologies in 2013, Bruce was promoted to Senior Director of Nonwovens R&D, with managing responsibilities across the Georgia-Pacific Nonwovens Platform in Memphis, TN, Neenah, WI and Atlanta, GA. Georgia-Pacific Airlaid Nonwovens has manufacturing locations in North America at Green Bay, WI, and Gaston (Mt. Holly), NC, as well as in Europe at Steinfurt, Germany.
Based in Memphis, Tennessee, Bruce received his Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Minnesota.
