ALYSSA DWECK, MS, MD, FACOG, is a practicing gynecologist in Westchester County, New York. She provides care to women of all ages; she has delivered thousands of babies. A graduate of Barnard College, she has a Masters Degree in Human Nutrition from Columbia University and her Medical Degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, now named Drexel University. Dr. Dweck trained at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, where she was Chief Resident in 1994.
Dr. Dweck practices in Mount Kisco, NY and Carmel, NY and admits to Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, NY. She has been voted “Top Doctor” in New York Magazine and Westchester Magazine. She is proficient in minimally invasive surgery. She has a special interest and expertise in female sexual health and medical sex therapy. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and a consultant at Massachusetts General Hospital, Vincent’s Memorial Ob/Gyn Service. She has served on multiple ethics, quality assurance, and peer review committees. She has served on the medical advisory board of Hope’s Door, a shelter from Domestic Violence and as a medical consultant for, Stepup-Speakout.org, a web community dedicated to resources and support for breast cancer related lymphedema.
Dr. Dweck is co-author of three books, including the newly released The Complete A to Z for Your V (Quarto Press 2017) She and co-author hope to remove some of the mystery and taboo surrounding many gynecologic issues in a humorous and chatty, but medically sound and up to date “V” guide.
Dr. Dweck is on the Health Advisory Board of Family Circle Magazine and contributed regularly to “Ask Anything” a monthly feature in Women’s Health Magazine. She contributed regularly to to YM Magazine, in a series called “paging Dr. Dweck”.
She also contributes regularly to Cosmopolitan, SHAPE, Family Circle, Health, Women’s Health and Girl’s Life, Seventeen in print in addition to online sites including Bustle, Buzzfeed, MORE, Foxnews, WomensHealthOnline, EverydayHealth, Parents, Sheknows, Shape, Self, and Prevention to name a few. She has been featured on The Today Show and Good Day LA. Dr. Dweck speaks regularly to physicians groups and lectures at various Westchester public schools on relevant gynecologic subjects, most recently, Sexually Transmitted Infections. She was a research assistant for Dr. Joyce Brothers. Dr. Dweck is an accomplished triathlete who also enjoys sports cars.
She lives in Westchester County with her husband, their two sons and their English bulldog.
