Sales Professional

William Barnet and Son, LLC is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of raw materials to the Textile Industry.

We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Professional with excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage customer prospects for yarn sales in the Textile Industry. The position will be based out of the company’s corporate office in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Role – Reporting to Business Manager - Yarns 

• Develop profitable sales in the yarn business, which would include Industrial, Technical and Textile Yarns.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers.
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes.
• Develop new products and markets in alignment with supplier’s product portfolio.
• Build customer relationships and foster the company image.
• Coordinate sales effort with sales support team members.
• Enter and maintain CRM Reports on customer visits, opportunities, etc.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years’ sales experience in yarn sales preferred.
• Self-motivated and target driven with a proven track record.
• Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Technical background in textile sales and manufacturing preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
• Resourceful and highly organized
• Frequent travel required (up to 40% travel)
