M&G Picks Sinopec to Build Texas PET and PTA Plants
New PET and PTA plants to be built. People living and looking for jobs in Corpus Christi, Texas USA may have good reason to cheer due to an Italian-based firm called Mossi & Ghisolfi. M&G has teamed up with Sinopec Engineering to build the world’s largest single-line PET plant with a capacity of 2.2 billion pounds. This PET plant will be in conjunction with the PTA plant that has a capacity of 2.6 billion pounds. That is a lot of PET and PTA, so if you’re in the market for either product things could be up and running within three years.
