Organizational Announcement – František Klaška
Znojmo, Czech Republic, April 17, 2020 – After a long and rewarding career at Pegas Nonwovens and then at PFN, I have decided to step down from my position as Chief Product & Technology Officer as of May 1, 2020. This is entirely my personal decision and is based on my wish to have a better balance between my personal life and my work. Most importantly, I want to give back to my family, who have unconditionally supported me throughout my active business life.
I will continue to be associated with PFN as a member of PFN`s innovation and production team on a part-time basis. In this new role, I will lead a few selected and challenging technology expansion projects of strategic importance for PFN. I will also be appointed an Honorary Chairman of the Council of Directors of PFN to continue to support the company from a non-executive advisory perspective.
Following our change plan, Tonny de Beer will be appointed Chief Product & Technology Officer as of May 1, 2020. I have full confidence that Tonny and the rest of PFN’s global leadership team will be able to successfully lead the company into the future.
It is with great pride that I look back over the last 25+ years. I have been part of building one of the most respected and innovative nonwoven companies in the world. The recent merger between Pegas and FQN to form PFN has set up our company for a new phase of growth, and PFN, is now well on its way to compete on a global playing field and continue to grow together with its key customers and suppliers.
I am thankful and very appreciative of all the trust that our customers, our development partners and our suppliers have placed in me and our team.
