Maria Gil, President, Chase Machine & Engineering Passes Away
It is with great sadness that Chase Machine & Engineering informs the industry that Maria Gil passed away on Friday evening after a brief illness. While everyone at Chase Machine are deeply saddened by the loss of our president and owner, they are honoring her commitment and passion to the company by continuing her legacy.
Maria worked for over thirty years to help build Chase into the world leader of custom machine and equipment design. When Maria’s husband, George, passed away in 2011, Maria continued his life’s work at Chase by vigorously moving the company forward. Their management team is determined to move ahead with the same level of vigor and zeal that both Maria and George would desire.
National sales manager Guy Gil, a 30-year veteran of the company and son of the owners, is joined by 25-year veteran and engineering manager Dan Baxter, manufacturing and production manager Chris Lavoie, and controller and marketing manager Michael Sutila.
Together the Chase management team will preserve Maria’s memory by staying true and strong to their valued customers and vendors.
They will be sharing details of Maria Gil’s memorial service on their website, and ask everyone to join them in fondly remembering her remarkable life.
