Construction work started for the new SADAS headquarters
The new site, which will rise in the heart of the paper district of Lucca represents a turning point for the company in terms of logistics, organization and strategy.
(Lucca, 11/03/2024) SADAS is an Italian company active in the fields of industrial plant integration, automation, design and supply of complex electrical systems including electrical distribution. Working in the paper industry as well as in numerous other sectors such as metallurgy, rubber and plastics, alternative energies and steelmaking, the company has cutting-edge skills and numerous references from 20 years of activity certified by partnerships with top-level companies such as ABB, Mitsubishi Electric and Siemens.
Starting in 2023, SADAS, with its entry into the Italia Technology Alliance holding company, has embarked on a path of revitalization in terms of organization and strategic positioning, of which the construction of the new headquarters represents a fundamental step. The plant aims to combine innovation and comfort in the name of maximum functionality and employee well-being, and maximum usability for all customers.
From a design point of view, special attention will be given to the production department, which will occupy an area of 7700m2 ,while the office areas will cover 1200m2. There will also be common areas, designed for the wellbeing of employees, such as the company canteen, networking areas and indoor and outdoor green spaces.
Finally, everything will be realized with a strong focus on energy sustainability, thanks to the optimization with a view to reducing consumption by means of photovoltaic panels on the roof, state-of-the-art thermal and acoustic insulation, rainwater collection, etc.. The new headquarters will enjoy a privileged location, near the Capannori (Lucca) highway exit and in the centre of the paper district.
