Acquisition of Greenville-Based M33 Integrated Increases Global Scale
January 26, 2015 – Greenville, SC – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – M33 Integrated, a Greenville, South Carolina-based third party logistics (3PL) provider was acquired by Transplace, a leading provider of transportation management services and logistics technology. The acquisition, announced on September 17, 2015, will expand the vertical expertise and geographical reach of Transplace, as well as enhance M33’s current structure of its operations and provide greater access to market trends and industry information to customers.
Transplace’s acquisition of M33 further supports the company’s commitment to strategic growth in order to meet the supply chain needs of its growing customer base. M33 Integrated’s headquarters and technology center in Greenville, SC and its operations center in Greensboro, NC will be named the Transplace Southeastern Center of Excellence and will operate as part of the company’s Transportation Management business, which is led by President Frank McGuigan. “Although we are transitioning under the Transplace branding and name, we are still very committed to this region, “states Sammy Riddle, Senior Partner and Co-Founder of M33 Integrated. “Our technology center, which will remain in Greenville, will continue to develop industry-leading solutions and system features to the Transplace platform.”
