How we protect your information
We take protecting your personal information seriously. INDA strives to maintain reasonable safeguards to protect your personal information from loss and unauthorized access or disclosure. Credit card information is encrypted during transmission to our site, and we adhere to the Payment Card Industry (PCI) standard for handling credit card information.
INDA will retain your personal information and any information collected from your use of our websites or mobile apps for as long as you are a subscriber or otherwise maintain a user account on our websites or mobile apps.
How to control the information INDA uses or shares about you
We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide us. Upon receipt of your request, we will make every effort to remove your personal information from our database within 10 business days. To expedite this process, please provide your name, mailing address, all email addresses, and any other information you have registered with INDA products and services. Please note that we will not be able to stop third parties from sending you information about their products or services if your information was shared with them before we received your request. In such cases, you will also need to submit your unsubscribe requests with the third parties directly.
Regarding email specifically, you have the opportunity to elect to stop receiving advertising messages from INDA each time you receive such a communication from us. To unsubscribe from such email advertising messages, please follow the directions included in that email message and carefully select the email messages you wish to opt out of.
How can I access, correct or amend my information?
You have the right under certain privacy and data protection laws, as may be applicable, to request free of charge:

Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance
INDA websites and mobile apps are not intended for children under 13 years of age. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information on our websites and mobile apps. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we may have any information from or about a child under 13, please send an email to our Data Privacy Officer at dpo@inda.org or call 919 459-3721 and ask for the Data Privacy Officer.
Data from other sources
We also may obtain contact details and other information about you from other entities and from third parties, including: social networks who have your permission to access your data; service providers who enable us to customize products based on your location; partners with which we offer co-branded services or engage in joint marketing activities; publicly available sources and data suppliers from which we obtain data to validate or supplement the information we hold.

We may have links on INDA websites, mobile apps or in INDA communications that link to external websites. INDA does not endorse, nor is INDA responsible for the privacy policy or content of these sites, so please check the privacy policy of the external site when visiting.
Do not track requests
Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” option, which allows you to signal to operators of websites and mobile apps and services (including behavioral advertising services) that you do not wish such operators to track certain of your online activities over time and/or across different websites. Our websites are currently unable to process Do Not Track requests from browsers.
Changes to our privacy policy and your consent
INDA may change this privacy policy from time to time. We will post the most current policy on the INDA website and mobile app. Please refer to our privacy policy each time you visit our site to review any updated information. When you visit and use our website, you consent to our collection and use of your personal information as described in this policy.

Application Data. If you use our application(s) we also may collect the following information if you choose to provide us with access or permission:

If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your device’s settings.
- Mobile Device Access. We may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device, including your mobile device’s calendar, camera, contacts, storage. and other features. If you wish to change our access or permissions, you may do so in your devices settings.
- Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the application(s). If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you may tum them off in your devices settings.
This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our application(s), for troubleshooting, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.
Information automatically collected. We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity (like your name or contact information) but may include device and usage information. such as your device characteristics, operating system, device name, device model and other technical information. This information is primarily needed for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.
Like many businesses. we also collect information through cookies and similar technologies.

- Device Data. We collect device data such as information about your phone. tablet you use to access the Services. Depending on the device used, this device data may include information such as your application identification numbers and system configuration information.

5. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice unless a longer retention period is required.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example. because your personal information has been stored in backup archives) then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
6. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. 7. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the Services. If we deem that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.
