INDA, NACWA, WEF and APWA Are Working Together to Reduce Costly Burden of Non-Flushables on U.S. Wastewater Systems
Nary a week goes by that you don’t see a news item picked up in the press about Wastewater Facilities and their problems with non-flushable wipes. The nonwovens industry has been trying to address this subject for many years now and they have recruited some help – in the form of NACWA (National Association of Clean Water Agencies), WEF (the Water Environment Federation) and APWA (American Public Works Association). They, along with INDA, are going to be staging a multi-pronged effort to help Wastewater facilities and the nonwovens industry.
