Lenzing to Construct New Tencel Plant in Austria
Lenzing, Austria is a small town in Upper Austria with about 5,000 residents. The town of Lenzing’s claim to fame is Lenzing AG with manufacturing plants. Now, the town will be growing a bit more as plans are in the works to build a jumbo production line to produce Lenzing AG’s TENCEL® fibers. This new line will have a capacity of 64,000 tonnes per year and be located in a state-of-the-art facility. Residents will definitely have something to talk about as construction takes place over the next two years.
