RISE® 2024 Call for Poster Abstracts

INDA, the Association of Nonwoven Fabrics, is now accepting abstracts for poster presentations for the 2024 Research, Innovation & Science for Engineered Fabrics Conference (RISE®). The presentations will take place at the Reception on Tuesday evening, October 1, 2024.
Space is limited and posters will be accepted based upon the quality of the abstract and the order received. You must be in-person to present the poster (no virtual option).
DEADLINES
- Abstracts must be submitted by Monday, September 9, 2024.
- Abstract selections will be made by Friday, September 13, 2024.
Notifications will be sent by email only.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARING ABSTRACTS
Abstract submissions should include the following:
- Topic must be related to fibers and/or nonwoven fabrics (raw materials, coatings, treatments, manufacturing processes, fabrics, end-uses, etc.) and involve original research.
- Author(s) names(s) including affiliation(s) and email address(es).
- Poster title
- Abstract no longer than 1500 words
REGISTRATION
- In-person attendance is mandatory to be included in the program.
- Full-time student poster presenters will receive a complimentary registration to RISE 2024.
- Post-doctoral researchers, academics and adjunct faculty, and members of national and private research labs presenting their work in the poster session will be offered the 2024 Academic rate to attend RISE.
POSTER PRESENTATIONS
- Audience
- Posters will be displayed Tuesday, October 1 at the Lonnie Pool Golf Club during the evening reception. Attendees include academic professionals and students, government employees, technology scouts, product developers, and business leaders.
- Requirements
- Posters should be no larger than 30” x 40”, either portrait or landscape orientation.
- Presenting authors are required to attend the poster session (5:00 pm –8:00 pm) to take advantage of opportunities to discuss their work with conference attendees.
- What will be provided
- Easels and binder clips for each accepted poster presentation.
Not provided: Tables, computers, or electricity.
