Sortex Powers Green Bottle Drive
Imagine taking 2 billion two-litre plastic bottles out of landfills each year. Well, it’s happening thanks to a joint venture between ECO Plastics (Lincolnshire UK) and Coca-Cola Enterprises called Continuum Recycling. The reprocessing plant produces 40,000 tonnes of recycled plastic a year which will help Coca-Cola achieve their goal of 25% recycled plastic in all of its plastic packaging . . . Coca-Cola even has a website dedicated to encouraging more recycling of beverage containers.
