Jacob Holm Pricing Adjusted as Manufacturing Costs Rise
Basel, Switzerland, September 17, 2018 – Through 2018, Jacob Holm experienced a sharp global increase in the price of its main raw materials: polyester, polypropylene, viscose and pulp. This increase, along with rising packaging, utilities and freight costs, has been largely absorbed to keep prices stable thus far this year. However, the cost forecast for 2018 mandates that Jacob Holm adapt our pricing in order to continue providing the level of quality and service customers deserve and have come to expect. Effective Q4, Jacob Holm will be implementing a price increase on all products. The level of this increase will depend on the composition and formulation of the finished product.
Jacob Holm pledges to persist in efforts to secure competitive pricing and limit further increases, and we appreciate the opportunity to continue cultivating the trust customers place in Jacob Holm.
