The hygienic disposables industry has evolved to support market needs, and market competition has pushed producers to supply products manufactured with progressively lighter materials. Production requirements have challenged product designers and operations, along with manufacturers of the fabrics used in these articles. This presentation highlights some of the practical considerations, and adaptations of machinery that have supported this evolution, and offers a glimpse into solutions for the future.
