Greg joined Rando Machine Corporation as the Director of Business Development in February, 2010. His professional career included both management and executive level contributions in Organization Development and Sales & Marketing in both the Communications and Pharmaceutical industries.

Before coming to Rando Machines, Greg spent four years as a Business Consultant assisting companies with installing effective Organizational Development and Growth models aimed at increasing business, improving current processes and facilitating innovation.

Greg has earned Masters Degrees in both Organizational Communication and Development (Canisius College, Buffalo NY) and Pastoral Ministry (Christ the King Seminary, East Aurora, NY). He holds undergraduate degrees in Medical Technology and in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Statistics (University of Buffalo).

Michael Flaherty has served as an Executive at Rando Since May 2001. He has been President of Rando since September 2007 and purchased the company on January 1, 2013.
A graduate of St. Bonaventure University in May 1985 with a BBA in Accounting, Mr. Flaherty has held executive positons in the retail, printing, sports and manufacturing industries during his career.

Advances in Airlaid Technology

Abstract: While every technology has its limitations, Airlaid Technology, historically, has been characterized as only being capable of producing mid-to-heavy weight web structures at restricted speeds while achieving acceptable uniformity metrics.
This presentation provides valuable insights into the ongoing advances that are being made in Airlaid Technology that have had very positive, practical and improved results for producers of light weight webs, manufacturers who produce multiple products with a wide variety of web weights and manufacturers whose products incorporate specialty, difficult or innovative fibers.

Focusing on the spectrum of web weights that can be produced using Airlaid Technology, line speed and web uniformity, the presenters offer insights that are currently having positive quality, throughput and financial effects for those currently harnessing these latest advances.
