Abstract :Dry-stretch microporous polyolefin membranes have long been known for their unique combination of waterproofness, breathability, and strength in a very thin film. Recent processing innovations have substantially enhanced these core characteristics while enabling cost-competitiveness in applications which typically employ lower-performing films or nonwovens. The new dry-stretch membranes_ unique nanofiber structure will be highlighted.
