Abstract: A novel superhydrophilic hybrid scaffold was created by electrospinning a mixture of P(LLA-CL) and formulated fibrinogen. The hybrid scaffolds possess the combined benefits of each individual component such as moderate mechanical strength, excellent biocompatibility. Animal experiments for replacement of canine/porcine/rat arteries_Atendons and abdominal walls had been performed. Histological results revealed a promoting transforming process in vivo. The clinical trials for the anterior pelvic floor reconstruction and hernia repair are being conducted, Initial results are also encouraging.
